We were connecting the laptop to the TV to watch NFL Game Pass but it's a bit unwieldy. So I made a new iTunes/App Store account with CR as country. Downloaded the NFL app (icon with the blue background). Signed in, it worked perfectly. Signed out of iTunes/App Store, signed back in with our regular US login and the app is still there and 100% watchable on our new Apple TV 4K.
Hey guys, I had the same problem with apple tv 4k 64 version. After I complained to game pass enough, they set me up an account to watch the games on my pc. So far all the week one games I've wanted to watch work on my pc. I was also able to use a pc connected to my tv. The joke is I didn't even need an apple tv.
